With Bram Faber, Painter

Installation ‘Projection Room’

Bram Faber – Table installation with partially painted sheets of wood
Annegret Suaudeau – Video

The work consists of a video projection in a dedicated space. The film is broken by wooden panels so that the effect it has on viewers changes as they move through the installation. The investigation of spatial possibilities in video continues in the exhibition space.
Besides relating to each other, the variously sized painted and unpainted sheets can also be seen as maquettes. Their outlines and paint surfaces appear to change through the projection.
Projection here can also mean the search for a possibility to express a wish or a need.

Duo "Oh de Vie!" with Claudia Tesorino, Musician

‘Conversation at the Border’
Performance with music, voice, sound, video and slide projections

‘In their live improvisations, Tesorino and Suaudeau manufacture audio and text as shimmering stories and previously unheard sounds. The saxophone, melodica, piano or flute play, the text responds, sometimes also clashing with the music. Occasionally the text poses a question and the saxophone answers or disagrees. Their interplay doesn’t seek meaning, but commonality – playfulness – also leading to the absurd.’

Voice-Sound Piece ‘Municipal Works Visit’
Broadcast on Deutschlandradio Kultur, June 2021
A conversation between melodica, voice and text, that leads to an outlandish situation. Our improvisation sessions regularly result in rounded, unrepeatable pieces. This is one of them.
